Let’s run away to the beach
This summer, I was lucky enough to see the sea every weekend. For me, and I’ve mentioned this before on this blog, feeling the sand between my toes and hearing the waves calms me down. So in my ode to the Summer of 2014, I present my beach stills, some shared before, and some new memories.
Ice Cream and a Sunset
Sometimes, okay a lot of the time, I take Melbourne for granted. But with a night like last night, sometimes I take a moment to take her in. Her big city lights, her sunsets, and her delicious food. I took Mum out for dinner at Saké, just below Hamer Hall on the Yarra on Southbank. It was a gorgeous night to spontaneously decide to go out for dinner. The night was finished with THE. BEST. ICE. CREAM. IN. THE. ENTIRE. WORLD. Tutto Bene’s Mandarin gelato is just incredible. I don’t even have words for how much I love it. While it may not be every ones kettle of fish – it renders me speechless.
