Don’t worry – you aren’t alone! Most of us don’t know what to do in front of the camera (especially with our hands) but it is my job to make you feel at ease, look amazing and have a good time doing it.
No matter who you are, it’s totally normal to find photos intimidating. Even THINKING about everything involved might be enough to stress you out. I totally get it!
That’s why I’ve made it my goal to ensure the experience is easy, stress free and (dare I say it?) even a little fun for everybody involved so that you can walk away with kickass portraits of you looking and feeling your best.

FAQs
Can you suggest locations?
Absolutely. My top suggestions are wandering through the streets of London, hang out in your garden, grab a coffee at your local or you being a badass at your desk. You can read all about my suggestions of locations on the London Landmark page.
WHEN/HOW WILL i RECEIVE my PHOTOS?
Post-processing is the most time-intensive part of your shoot, and so typically my session turnaround is about 2-3 weeks. Photos are delivered via digital download for instant access and easy sharing. I will provide a preview of the session shortly after, via an online gallery. With portrait shoots, I can provide you with a contact sheet and you can choose your favourite photos. Your final images will be provided digitally to you via the online gallery.
Do you travel for shoots?
Most definitely! I am based in London but happy to travel to you, so as to make you feel comfortable and at home in front of the lens. Depending on the distance, it may cost extra.
can we go to MULTIPLE LOCATIONS?
Absolutely and it all depends on how long you’d like the shoot to go for. The longer your shoot, the more locations we can visit!
ARE SESSIONS INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
All session locations are chosen in collaboration with you, to bring your unique vision to life. Indoors or outdoors – we’ll make it happen!
Can I post the photos to social media?
Absolutely! Once you have the final images, I want you to plaster the photos everywhere because you look amazing. I would love a shout-out so others can find out where you got your kickass photos from.
Will you post my photos online?
I will because I want to show off how good you look! I still own the copyright of the photos so if you do not want me to share your images, please contact me as soon as possible to opt-out.
WHAT TIME should we have OUR SESSION?
If we are shooting outdoors, the time of day we hold your session is super important. We will weigh up both our availabilities versus the best time of light on that day. I prefer shooting during the golden hour (either sunrise or sunset) but this isn’t always possible, depending on the best light at the location or our availabilities. Plus you have to account for the amount of daylight depending on the time of year. Don’t worry, it will look amazing no matter the time of day! If we are holding your session indoors, then I will be guided by you as to when your location gets the best light.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
If your shoot date gets rained out, we can either select an alternate location or reschedule on a date that fits you. Or we always can splash around in the rain!
I’ll always consult the weather the day before our session as this is when the forecast is the most reliable, and call you to discuss our options. All I ask is that keep your day open and flexible, so we can adjust our start time if we need to.
WILL I GET EVERY SINGLE IMAGE YOU TAKE?
You wouldn’t want every photo! To make sure I don’t miss anything, I usually take over 200+ images, and I often take what I call blink insurance – multiple images photos taken because you might move/blink/etc. I promise that I hand select the best of the best of the best for editing, and these images form your gallery, which I edit loosely. Please be assured that I am not sitting on images that you might love. You can expect to receive upwards of 10+ images as part of your final gallery.
Can I make a Pinterest/mood board?
Yes please do! In a surprise to no one, I am an incredibly visual person so I love seeing photos that you love and the vibe you want to go for. A few jumping off questions to give you inspiration: Where will you use these photos? Social media? LinkedIn? Your website? Do you want to include your brand new lovely home office? Or do you want to show off you are based in London using a landmark in the background?
